Tekwan is traditional fish ball soup from Palembang, Indonesia. The fish balls are made into a dough using fish and tapioca flour similar to Pempek. These are then presented in a shrimp broth, served with glass noodles, black mushroom, sliced white radish, lily flowers and sprinkled with sliced fresh chives, fried shallot and chopped cucumber with some lemon juice if desired. Some versions use prawns as a broth ingredient.

The packet consist : 250gr Tekwan fish balls, packet of spices for soup for 1 litre water, packet of vegetables (white radish, mushroom, lily flower, chives), packet of dry glass noodles, a packet of cooked prawns for soup and sambal.
