Bakso (meatball soup) is more than just a dish—it’s a cherished memory from my childhood in Indonesia. Nothing excites me more than enjoying a bowl of Bakso from a street pushcart or, even better, my mother’s homemade version. No restaurant or warung could ever replicate the taste, especially when paired with her signature spicy sambal Bakso.
While Bakso is available in Australia, it’s never quite the same without that authentic sambal. That’s why I created my own! This Bakso Chilli Sauce perfectly captures the bold, spicy, and tangy flavors that bring back the nostalgic taste of my mother’s Bakso and sambal.
