Sambal Cikalang or Cakalang is a delicacy sambal from Minahasa of North Sulawesi, Indonesia made from a variety of bird chillies, tomatoes, onion, garlic, lemon grass, Kaffir leaf and homemade cured mackerel fish (Cikalang) to make this sambal unique in flavour.
Cikalang /Cakalang is cured mackerel fish instead using Skip Jack Tuna.
